November - How did we do?
Secretly Not Here Any More Started conversation Nov 27, 2007
With only a few days of November left, did we all meet (or exceed) our targets for this month?
I've had two entries through PR;
Lucas Radebe - Footballer (FP today)
Peter the Great Monument - Moscow (With Uncle Matt)
How did the rest of us brave writers fare?

I have three in review at the moment, am working on a collaborative FM rescue and revising landsandy's Entry for PR. I've exceeded my 1 1/2 hours of reviewing time per week comfortably. And I've rejoined the Scouts

Well aren't you leading from the front?

broelan Posted Nov 27, 2007
I've got two in PR, and spent a comfortable amount of time there reviewing, too.

Well I had six plucked from PR, but 3 of them were in there before this started.
The ones that count for this month are Footwear, Clackers and Space Hopper - to be fair, I was working on the first one when the call to arms came and the other two were just quickies that just sort of happened. If I'd had any sense I'd have held them over to December.
I've been in PR most evenings but I'm not a very good reviewer - I don't have the skilled eye required - I've seen you there Brolean. I'm not confident commenting on the ones that have a lot of attention so I'm trying to find the lesser spotted entries - posting usually a general comment then hoping that someone who knows something will step in.
I haven't volunteered to be anything other than what I already am so good for you Rich, and well done on the FP Psycorp.

I've edged in with one so far, and have started reviewing again. It is looking a lot more alive in there than it has been for a long, long time - and it's calm
A good pat on the back for everyone. If we can effect this change, then just think how much more we can do Thank you Rich for the kick up the bum

I had one entry in PR, and I'm reviewing as best as I can. I find it hard to follow ALL the new entries, though, there are just so many at the moment.

Tell me about it B'el. I try and read most of the new ones, and comment on the ones that catch my interest.
Rich, what do you think to a month-by-month counter of what we've had picked? It's the sort of thing that can spur people on when they're flagging a bit.

Elentari Posted Nov 28, 2007
I've had one picked and I've got another in PR at the moment.

Skankyrich [?] Posted Nov 28, 2007
I think that's a very good idea, Psycorp. Any volunteers?
November - How did we do?
Secretly Not Here Any More Posted Nov 28, 2007
Well it's just a simply matter of asking everyone subscribed to list what they've had picked and then keep a running total:
November (so far)
Psycorp603 - 2
Skankyrich - None picked yet, 4 in PR
Broelan - None picked yet, 2 in PR
Fizzymouse - 6
Wilma - 1
B'Elana -1
Elentari - 1
So 11. We need seven more to meet our 18pm target!!

Skankyrich [?] Posted Nov 28, 2007
Alex has submitted three, as has Galaxy Babe - not everyone who's joined is subscribed, you see. I've got three in PR, not four, and three of Fizzy's were submitted before the group started. Does that make 13?
November - How did we do?
Skankyrich [?] Posted Nov 28, 2007
boredlaura and Bob Stafford have one in each as well, and Bob has put two into EGWW - I think those are going to a Uni project. I think Deke was counting her earlier submission to PR as hers for November, which is fair enough. Nothing yet from Antelia or Jimi X from what I can see
So that's 15 or 18 depending how loose on your criteria

Lets go for 18, eh?
Success!

Skankyrich [?] Posted Nov 28, 2007
I think December will be a better gauge, though, when our Entries start hitting the FP in greater numbers

Let's hope we exceed the 18 pledge then, eh? Maybe a quick message to those who signed up and didn't subscribe to the thread to let them know how November went and remind them to subscribe to the conversations could be in order?
I think that we do need to remain fairly organised in this venture to succeed long-term.

I will follow this up along the lines you suggest, Psycorp, but probably not this week. I've got a bunch of access audits to get in on Monday, or I won't get paid in time to be able to have a holiday, and as I don't have any days off from my main job between now and then unfortunately it's going to take up most of my free time. If I can't take her somewhere nice in January, the engagement will be off
I'll do up a newsletter, post it on here, then see whose conversation lists it hasn't turned up in. Then I'll go and bug them
