I used to love Prisoner Cell Block H as a kid

Mind you, my favourite Aussie programme is Playschool when Trisha Goddard (from the 'Jerry Springer for UK neds' ITV chatshow) was on it. To see her crawling around pretending to be a wombat or whatever was hilarious to me!

I was always held spellbound by the Prisoner hair-dos, from the birds-nest styles of the scummiest cellmates, to each governor's intricately woven locks. Was it a requirement of the job, do you think?

Well certainly Erica Davidson's blonde bouffant helmet was held in place by about eight cans of lacquer at any one point in time. I'm sure that it protected her from any serious brain damage during the numerous riots/kidnapping attempts/shootings she was involved in!
