Watford 1-1 Stoke (Gunnarsson)
Brighton 1-0 Rotherham (Butters)
Stevenage 1-2 Rochdale (Holt)
Blackpool 1-0 Port Vale (Taylor)
Exeter 0-2 Doncaster (Blundell)
now DD, if i tell you virgo is still on a 3-match suspension for his red card against West Ham will you change again?
btw, hopefully no one will get those bonus points as i sure know i won't, and it looks like a chance for GD to give his best mates a boost doesn't it?

No riotact that's not it at all. I had the list all worked out a couple of weeks ago, and when I looked at it to post it, I realised that there were these associations with four of the home teams. So I thought to myself why not change one of the matches and go for five associations
And come to think of it the original one on the list which was Norwich v Fulham could have stayed, as Norwich is where my step-brother Jonathan lives.

I have decided to allow DD's correction to stand. This is on the basis that the correction was posted 2 minutes and 43 seconds after the first posting. This to me seems a reasonable amount of time to post, realise you've made an error and post a correction.

ONce upon a time GD was born in WATFORD. The first football match he went to was in EXETER. However, he returned to Hertfordshire and went to college in STEVENAGE, but all the while making occasional visits to his Gran in BLACKPOOL. He currently resides in BRIGHTON.

Don't believe it - I've done a Newcastle.
Watford 2 - 0 Stoke - Helguson They're a bit good at home.
Brighton 0 - 0 Rotherham - Can't see either team scoring.
Stevenage 0 - 1 Rochdale - Holt Could be tight this one.
Blackpool 1 - 2 Port Vale - Paynter - Nearly went for a draw here.
Exeter 1 - 0 Doncaster Steve Flack - purely on the grounds that I used to play darts with a Steve Flack some 33 years ago.
So assuming I'm going to get maximums on all those I may need the bonus points as well -
So; Born in Watford, lived in Sheffield, Lives in Brighton - the easy ones.
Stevenage where he first attended a football match.
Blackpool - spent brief training period here, before starting work.

Brighton v Rotherham 1-0 (Virgo)
Stevenage v Rochdale 2-1 (Elding)
Blackpool v Port Vale 2-1 (Taylor)

Sorry but I've no idea about three of the associations, the others i found on your space. Could copy off someone else but that would be cheating wouldn't it.

Watford 2-1 Stoke (Dyer)
Brighton 1-1 Rotherham (Claridge)
Stevenage 1-2 Rochdale (Holt)
Blackpool 0-1 Port Vale (Paynter)
Exeter 1-2 Doncaster (Blundell)
And for the bonus point:
GD was born to a EXETER scullery girl in 1926. Realising she could not keep the fruit of her forbidden love, she left him on the moor to be raised by ponies. When he reached the age of maturity, GD put this equine knowledge into place by hiding away on a train and becoming a donkey handler on BLACKPOOL beach. There he remained until one day he came across the love of his life, Greta, who had been attending the labour party conference as a councillor for that charming new town, STEVENAGE. This idyll might have lasted forever, but GD developed an obsession to see whether there was an uglier town than Stevenage, which lead him inexorably to the evil clutches of WATFORD. However, all things must come to an end, and GD took up a well earned retirement at the seaside in BRIGHTON, where he paints charming watercolours of the ruined pier for the tourist trade, pausing only to update the FF results.
