I'd say so. Hoping for the same leeway when he ends up on honeymoon.

Of course it is. As the page says- "
4) Pools Panel
For this season we see the return of the Pools Panel. This is a method of allocating scoring points to players who, for what ever reason, are not able to make a prediction for themselves."
Key- "for whatever reasoN". And this seems quite a reasonable one- the pools panel has been sued for people going on holiday a number of times,a nd I'd say a honeymoon is a tad more important than the average holiday.

Frankly, the pools panel is punishment enough in itself - I think it is even more likely to predict an Arsenal defeat than CM...

The problem is, people have this pesky habit of going on holiday in the six week period when there's been no football this year.
And then they complain about not being able to come or how hot it is - the wedding is in France - any earlier in the summer and I'd have to get married in shorts...

"I feel it displays a distinct lack of planning. I mean - the football season hardly moves about."
And, of course, the football season is the most important thing in the world, life revolves around it, and how *dare* Sprout attach more importance to his marriage than a predictions competition. honestly, some people, i don't know...

I'm glad you appreciate my stance on this.
However I belief I perceive an escape route - If Sprout were to invite us all to the wedding we could abandon the Fantasy for that weekend.

I think the future Mrs Sprout might have a bit to say... Besides, I think Bordeaux are playing away that weekend, so not worth it if there's no chance to see the mighty Girondins.
I'll bring you back some virtual if you like, how's that?
