Well folks, seeing as we're only a week away I'm going to suggest that we pick a restaurant to head to. The afternoon is out for us unfortunately but seeing as we haven't decided on an afternoon activity anyway, why don't we make this meet an evening one? I was thinking along the lines of picking a restaurant and meeting there at a set time. Sound good?

Sounds fine to me as my afternoon was booked up anyway.

So does anyone know any decent establishments for the consumption of Indian-inspired foodstuffs in the fine city of Glasgow?
Funny, I'm sure we've had this discussion before and got nowhere...

As I have never eaten a curry in Glasgow I have no clue. I'll folow whatever other the more expert foodies of the region suggest.

Ashoka Shack?
There's one in the west end somewhere, I believe.

I was going to suggest Mr Singh's India and Mother India both of which are on Sauchiehall Street (the bit out of town & past Charing Cross). There's an Ashoka in Ashton Lane but it'll be *very* busy on a Saturday evening. Restaurants in the city centre will doubtless have the same problem.
I might make it, btw. Depends how I feel.

>Are you ill?
Hmmmm, well not everything physical feels quite "right" at the moment and I have some "off" days, health wise. Might be psychosomatic, might be something...

Right then. Shall we say 6pm at the Counting House with a view to being at some restaurant or other by 7?

Well I plan to have fun tomorrow so am leaving my problems at home. Do the same and you never know, you might just enjoy yourself
See you all at 6pm tomorrow!

I'm busy making up a list of possible eateries. Got two so far.. "Mr Singh's India" (mentioned above) and "Kama Sutra". Both seem to have quite good reputations.
