where do I start.....
This page sounds like you are someone who thinks they have it though, that it's them against the world. But you have stated a few intellegent points, so there is hope.
Listed below are a few points that I have to take issue with....
As a vegetarian, (unless it's medical) I do hope that you don't wear leather, or use anything made of plastic, because they are all made from animal products.
As for movies before you were born...there is a thing called a video store, look around, you will find atleast one you like, the only thing keeping you "an uncultured Amercian brat" is yourself.
$2.75 to see your friends, and you're complaing, I guess they're not good friends. You only have so many friends and if $2.75 times two(I'm asumming that's one way) is to much, then find friends closer to you, or tell them to come and see you.
If you want ordinary people in books read Kurt Vonnegut( start with "Slaughter House Five", or anything by Anthony Burgess.
Life is only boring when you make it that way, go out into the world, explore, have fun. The only thing holding you back is yourself, your fear of failure, the small voices in your head saying that what you are about to do is impossible.
Do not think that I am putting you down in any way, that is the last thing I want to do. I just want you to know that there are many ways to look at life and it seems to me that you are taking the typical Americian attitude, "it's not my problem, let someone else deal with it". I may be wrong, and if I am please tell me, but as a DNA fan( I'm going to assume that you are one, since you are here) DON"T PANIC, do as Ford does, go with it, what ever it happens to be at the time.
There is so much to do and see and break, have fun with life.
Key: Complain about this post
