This entry is looking for someone to take it on and love it.

Does anyone fancy writing this one up? There may well be official h2g2 merchandise (a T-shirt) for the willing volunteer who can get it into the Edited Guide for us.

Iam willing to have a bash let me know what is needed

Oh, I bet they would. It's quite an interesting topic, especially since I'm selling all these goods ( and I eat them, too, btw), but I'm not sure what exactly this would require: collect all the informnation from the posts made to this?

Okay read through the material and I can see the button on the side here that says write an entry ...question.... if I am going to do this I know for cert it won't get done in one sitting so how do you save a work in process can't seem to find these directions in the help or how to section or do I simply write it off line and then cut and paste it once it's finished especially important for spelling and grammer check ..... also think it would be better if people could read and make suggestions as I go having never done this before and still being a newby

Just click on the 'write an entry' link on the left sidebar (Ubrunel skin), write your entry, and click 'update entry' when you stop writing. If you wnat to find a concept first, you could tick the 'not for review' button until you want to submit it. If you want to submit it right away, you could submit it to the edited guide writing workshop. Don't submit to Perr Review unless it's practically finished.

Dear leo the Long any rules or reasons it can't have two writers especially if you have done this before If not do you want to work on it together? Failing that I happened upon the request by chance and thought to myself okay take a dive of the deep end
If this is something you really want to do please be my guest and maybe I can peer over your shoulderwhile you work

I see you are rather new and definitely diving off the deep end. Good for you. At the same time, I won't steal any credit from your first solo entry. Plus, it would have to get in line behind a half-dozen (or more?) other partially completed entries I vowed to finish within the next 3 weeks. (Sooo not happening...) So it's really better if you do the diving.

(Anyway, I haven't either ever compiled one of these before. I imagine that after looking at it and gulping the thing to do is read all the threads and jot down or notepad anything that looks important...)

What's going on here? Any luck with getting it off the ground?
