This is a recipe that I concoted to speed up the time it takes to tenderize a steak. It works well!

Good entry. Very interesting. I have learned something new here regarding latex allergies. I never heard of them before! From taking a peek round the internet, it seems that people with latex allergies can be allergic to a wide range of fruits, not only papaya. Bananas appear to be a major no-no.

One thing you need to do with your entry is to remove the "I"'s. Edited Guide entries are not meant to be written in the first person, or to include personal references. Your first paragraph will need to be rephrased, for instance:

"This is a great recipe for a steak marinade that I concoted after looking at meat tenderizer in the supermarket. I was looking at the ingredients of the meat tenderizer, because I was currious what the active ingredient was in Adolph's Meat Tenderizer, and was suprised to discover that Papaya was the Active ingredient" ==> "Papaya is an active ingredient in many supermarket tenderizers."

"I wouldn't recomend letting the steak sit in the mixture for more than 2 hours, otherwise the meat will littearly disolve" ==> "If you let steak site in a papaya mixture for more than 2 hours, it will dissolve"

(You might be able to rephrase this better than I have - I am only giving examples of how it could be done).

Nevertheless, a good entry. Well done.

I'm very interested by this, but my first thought is:
"Where can I get papaya from?"

The author appears not to have been back for some months -- not quite a one-day wonder, but a 3-day wonder perhaps. Should we consider moving this thread to the flea market?

Thanks for your encouragement. I'll try to stay away from using first person in later entrys. Someone has rewritten it for me, and it looks alot better.
