Edits done. All except the and c.
Ormondroyd's right but GuideML won't let me write an ampersand. Any ideas?

Ah yes, Ormondroyd
I feel that the term 'abolitionist' is self-explanatory, given the fact that 'slave' also appears in the title I think if somebody told me about an abolitionist, I would assume that they had been involved in the abolition of the slave trade. Is that just me?

To write an ampersand in GML you have to use either & or use an entity tag -
I think it's the latter
This is one of the most useful GML pages on h2g2 A1098876

Well, there have been other nasty things that people have campaigned to abolish: child labour and capital punishment, for instance. Maybe if you changed the order to 'Slave, Abolitionist, Sailor and Author'?

I'd agree Fb. Abolitionist would only ever refer me to the slave trade. What a great entry! Now that the pedants have been at it I think this is ready for the EG and an important story that needs to be told.
Excellent

That's a great page, Gosho
I've added the ampersand
Ormondroyd the order of the title is chronological. I'm still loathe to change it especially in the light of SBE's comment
Thank you for your comments SBE I'm *so* glad you're still with us

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!

Me too, Gosho! But never mind - the important thing is that it's great and it's going in the Edited Guide!
