The Committee for Alien Content sometimes celebrates
just for the sake of celebration,
but this week we celebrate some really good writing.
Those who thirst for literary delights will be pleased with
this week's selection and that's a promise or my name isn't
First, just to warm up your literary grey cells
here's an inventive little poem that will
stimulate your imagination in a low impact
for high results kinda way.
And I promise you our main feature this week will reward you.
One of our earlier discovered talents has been inspired to keep writing
and she currently has had an entry scouted for the Edited Guide
and another selected for review by the Underguide.
has reached a level of confidence and skill
that marks her as destined for professional recognition.
I want you to forget for the moment that you are reading a submission to our humble pages
and imagine you are reading this in The New Yorker magazine.
It is that good. The ending will leave you smiling.
Both of this week's entries were submitted to us as the un-official 'literary magazine of h2g2'.
So we didn't have to beg, borrow or steal from the usual various places on this site.
Just goes to show what you can find when you're not looking.
But we wouldn't do it without you.
The Committee for Alien Content(ment) salutes you!
