I like to do this sort of work in spurts, because I am lazy, but once I get started, I manage to get obsessive. So I was sorta waiting until I had a few submissions before making the next round of changes, which would include the cofounders. Please have patience.

Updates are now complete to this point. Please take a look at your ads and make sure that no errors creeped in, or see if you want to make any changes. Make sure I haven't accidentally mis-catalogued you, as well.

I think at this point we have enough to go on to let Peta know that the project is ready to reappear on Peta's Picks as a finished product, even though I know there are still several well-known clubs that have yet to weigh in. I can only assume that

1) They still haven't heard of it yet, in spite of my campaigning, or
2) They would prefer not to be listed.

In which case, if they still give it a miss after Peta's Picks, then to hell with them!

Location: Well, there really isn't a home page for the Misfits, as the roster is located on my home page. However, there is a signup page (p111844) and there is a main page for Frink's Drinks (A112924)
Description: The Rambling Misfits is the unofficial h2g2 softball team, and is one of the oldest h2g2 clubs around. Softball experience is not required, and in fact many members aren't really sure what softball is anyway. Members are encouraged to relax at the softball clubhouse, Frink's Drinks. There you can have a drink at the bar, play the pub quiz, sing some karaoke, get a massage, apply for a permit to build your own room, advertise in the Misfit Newsletter Classified Section, and much more. There is also a Misfit Newsletter where you can keep up with the latest team-related news.

It certainly is a worthy project, and does deserve advertising (flashes back to a Post column he once wrote), but it's not really a club. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Do you have any suggestions as to how I can make it into a club, then????

I suppose that if you made it a comedy club, where people hung out and shared their newest jokes, and maybe held some sort of "open mic" forum...
