Northern humour such as The Dinner Ladies for me is hilarious. I always loved Morecombe and Wise. Then there's anything with Ronnie Barker in ! I love Have I Got News For You with Paul Merton, Ian Hislop and Boris Johnson in particular. I bought the DVD and never regretted it.
Perhaps humour is a personal thing? Smudger started off a good coversation re jokes.
