No, I just blush easily, and didn't want the red hue of may face to affect the colours on your monitor. vegimn

Vegiman is only sweet if you put sugar on him.
Eaten raw he's more crunchy.

Vegiman, for some reason 'Flipwinky' has changed his/her/it's name to 'Whispermill'!
Apparently he/she/it hasn't been on this site for about three days either.

Hello Vegiman
He had legs but hardly ever used them, except to go from the settee to the fridge and down to the pub.

Incidentally, Flipwinky/Whispermill hasn't been on for ages. One of her messages had been replied to three hours ago. I checked.

I think she might be under the direction (for lack of a better description) of her parents. Maybe she is limited to a few hours a week.
Anyway I have had my first rejection e-mail, On my first and rather a cras page. It vanished from my home page in a puff of smoke. The editors must of hated it. Poor souls, having to read my ramblings vegimn

They don't delete user pages when they're rejected, do they?
I've only had one rejected so far, and I've got two waiting for rejection, and they've been waiting for about a month now.
Maybe they'll be back from lunch one of these days.

No - I thought they had removed my page. They hadn't. They just removed it from view. By clicking on all user pages: walla I found it.
It took about five weeks for them to reject my page. I think, they remove really cras pages within 1 week. Border line pages are left for about 5 weeks to see if other researches comment on it. If it is not the kind of comments they are looking for, or nobody bothers to mark your page with their blessed remarks, then it is rejected.
This is only my opinion on the way they do it. I will put it to the test soon, with some new pages and Ideas. As a self confessed egocentric, I want to see if I can get a page accepted. Watch this space or one like it.
Also I have noticed that many of the accepted pages are from the h2g2 team. Perhaps they take some of the ideas that are rejected - rewrite to their liking and post it as a new page. The new entries highlighted on the front page only seem to change once every 1 to 2 weeks. Once again mainly from the h2g2 team.

No, if they like your ideas but want to edit them for the Guide they have the right to do so. I think it says your name on the Guide entry, but it says 'h2g2 Writing Team' under 'Editor'.
