Secretly Not Here Any More

Yeah I missed 24LAS, I enjoy it despite the fact I never go to the flicks (or very rarely)!

Oh? There's no SSS this week? I hadn't noticed. Besides HPB, you get in on my column (if I can finally call it that now...)!

Anyway, Awix, you miss another week and I shall steal this column too!

You're too young to die. smiley - smiley

Thanks muchly, everyone - I *was* beginning to wonder if anyone actually read the thing!

In my defence I should say it was due to a broadband-installation-related-cock-up and humbly point out the last time I missed an edition was in December 2002...

In case anyone's interested in the next few weeks we will hopefully be looking at Eternal Sunshine, Van Helsing, and A Mighty Wind...

Not this not-very-good-sounding Boudica that Mel Gibson is doing?

A Braveheart Boudica thing has been done... I know, I reviewed it!

I usually wait until the film has actually been made before I review it... smiley - tongueout

Anyway, apparently there are *four* Boudicca/Boadicea bio-epics in the works... Alexander the Great eat your heart out! Not bad for a grubby revolt that got ludicrously glamourised by the Victorians.

Maybe I should get my retaliation in first and look at the old Hammer movie The Viking Queen, which is the only extant Boudicca movie I'm aware of.

Have just returned home from pub so overwhelming need to give drunken virtual hugs ... I ALWAYS read your column, even though I only manage to get to the cinema annually for LOTR. But you're entitled to the odd week off, I think. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I need to go to bed.
