There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho Posted Apr 20, 2004
lleeii, since the content of this entry has been copied directly from two different websites: http://www.andersen.sdu.dk/liv/minibio/skole_e.html and http://www.hca2005.com/Life+_+Work/Biography/Short+Biography/Place+of+Birth I'm going to have to ask the h2g2 Moderators to look at it and perhaps hide it since we don't know for sure yet if you have the right or permission to reproduce this material here.
Either way, h2g2 prefers original work from its Researchers. If you want to research an entry about HCA and write it in your own words, that's perfectly acceptable, but not direct copying of other people's work, with or without their permission.
Here's the copyright statement from the HCA website:
"Copyright Johan de Mylius. Copying only for research or educational, non-commercial purpose unless a special permission is issued.
You may quote the site with proper reference to the source in both text and link.
Please feel free to link to our pages. Links must however comply to links available on our pages, or URLs available as search results.
We do not allow that our content is framed into framesets of other websites."

Have you read that?

Gnomon - time to move on Posted Jul 5, 2004
It's a pity that nobody commented on the entry at the time that the author asked about it. I think it would require quite a bit of work to make it suitable for the Edited Guide, so if the author is no longer around, it'll have to go back to entry or on to the Flea Market.

I'll second the back to entry call. There's nothing to stop someone else having a go if they fancy it.

It occurred to me that an entry on HCA would be fine addition. I understand that there may be shortcomings to this entry, but wouldn't want to lose any good stuff.
One thing that I would have added would be some acknowledgement of his popularity, such as a mention of the movie based on his life and work starring Danny Kaye.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
