I like freindly games but I thinkcompetitive play has a diffrent feel to it.
While we wait for a few more people do you want to strat a game? On a diffrent thread I suppose.

I would be interested to join your competition. (Provided your still watching this thread).

i dunno what everyone else thinks but if another person joins 4 is enough to run an all-play-all tournament
of course if more people enter a swiss would be better but judging by the small number of replies this is unlikely

Maybe we should post to people who have played chess in the past, I notice drmegabyte has had a few games...
Competition
ChiefNautilus Posted Aug 23, 2005
I sent drmegabyte a message to see if he's interested, at least then we'll have four...

We could find somehwere to play like:
http://www.nabiscoworld.com/Games/game_large.aspx?gameid=10038
as it would make the game quicker.

When I tried to get to the chess game on nabisco world it told me that the page didn't exist any more...

I'd prefer just to play a correspondence tournament. A games on another website would just be too complicated to set up...

adder Posted Aug 28, 2005
that makes sense - we would all have to be around at the same time etc.

Just post a request for a game. Somone will play you. The competition is a while off if indeed t ever happens,
On that note would it be easiest just to set up a chess ladder?
