never before have the mens and womens basketball squads from one college won national championships in the same year, but the Huskies did it. the University of Connecticut is the national collegiate basketball champions, male or female for '03-'04.
funny how the Huskies won it when i was just a few weeks ago writing about the dog sled races.....
