I know the feeling. Sarah's parents, in Leeds, lives quite a few counties away and over 6 hours on a direct train, so quite a few hours driving. Not that I can drive, or afford to.
Do you have any trains you can catch there?

Not unless I go 6 hours to DC and then ride the train for another three into Lancaster. We need a good rail system here in the states.

In my opinion, everywhere should have a good railway network. Trains are great!

Goin' home... spending time with all my friends and family there... relax before the start of semester 2. That's really about the size of it.
But it'll be NICE...

Me too - but I'm only going to be home for 3-4 days, as I have to return here to work. Oh well...
Hopefully I'll be able to find time to see my old friends - I haven't had time to since I got engaged, which is really bad.#

Yeah... the only thing I don't like about being here (that is, here at uni) is that all my friends are hours and hours away. I miss them something terribly!

Me too...
I wish I had more time in which to see them, but the only times I'm free, they're working - and vice versa.

And inescapable.
Seeing them at school each day was much more fun.
