Has anyone seen my new aprentise?

[Eal]: ~Oh yeah that's right Ma'am, he said he were, off to apologize to somebody he had almost accidentally thrown knives at-near,-earlier...( Eh-heheh). He tol' me he was just gonna check out a few s and try to stay outta everybody else's way for awhile... So then he's probly still in his room...reading(and wondering where the h*ll I had went & gone off to),-ehheh.~
[ecg]: ~Eal, You're in he library? Can you ask someone o help me find a about Earth? I already found one about both Air and Water and another one on Fire...(does not mention that he knopws how o make a homunculus out of aluminum + mercury, since when he does, they only seem to want to do the opposite of what he tells them ).~

[Ecg]: *Re-enters the library* "Hello Ma'am, Eal told me that you were looking for me..."

"..." *Is unsure of what to expect*

Yes I was going to give you some books to study

*Looks at the books in his hand*

No not these they're too advanced for you

*Goes to the shelves and picks out four books*

These are what you need, they're for beginners, don't run before you can walk

[Ecg Unagi]: *Puts away the upper level s as instructed and checks out the beginner ones.* "Ma'am,I'm sorry to have disappointed you..." *If I just somehow knew more...* *Coaxes the pigments in the dirt on the floor to arrange themselves into a surprisingly accurate portrait representation of Lady Shaylar while looking away for a moment.* "..."

[Ecg Unagi]: *,* "Lady Shaylar, I'd like to show you...to prove that I know a little bit more about alchemy than I do about spells (except that isn't exactly saying much). I wish to show you this homunculus (minature golem) I've constructed out of Mercury + Aluminum earlier. It isn't very obedient,-but I did manage to get it to stay put in my room chamber. The thing only seems to do the exact opposite of what I tell it to..."

[Ecg Unagi]: "Lady Shaylar,-though I probably do not yet have proper skill and know I am not at present possessing the amount of magical power necessary to do the spells described in those s...Do not get me wrong, M'Lady, I could ably comprehend some of what it was that they were asking..." *shrugs kind of sheepisly*

<, I know thi # of posts is going to be "an overkill," but this next bit is going to be kind of funny...>
[Eal]: ~There you go-being Arrogant again Young master Unagi...~
[Ecg]: ~Shut up.~ "Eh?"
*Casts a gust blowing Eal back down the pipe*
"Oh, Quite about the mess Lady Shaylar..." *Stoops to scoop up all the papers he'd knocked off the desks in so doing, and puts it all "to rights."* "Is that the kind of stuff that I'm supposed to be learning,-that you will expect me to be able to do (Except, obviously not intended for such time/place, of course...)?" *Said hopefully*

Just stick to learning simple magic for now, you need to master simple spell casting before you move onto Alchemy

*Avatar grabs his stuff and heads for the arena to practice.*

*Ecg bows to his Mystical Arts tutor* "Yes Ma'am...I will." *Exits to head for the arena*

*Shakes her head*

That boy is going to prove to be a headache

[Eal]: ~He may be arrogant (& ignorant), but hopefully that may soon change... Provided that is,-he lives long enough to see it, before then...~

[Eal]: ~Ma'am, Ecg may initially seem rather rough around the edges, but-I've the feeling sometimes that were he to one day go after learning magic with the same tenacity he went to pursue learning fighting and swimming...~ *Makes a sort of telepathic, put-out }Sigh!{*

[Ecg]: *Bursts into the room, realizing that he has forgotten a simple rule of ettiquette* "Oh, and um, thank you-Ma'am." *Hurries back off to go and get the s he had accidentally left behind over at the bleachers.*

*Looks at the eel*

Maybe if he didn't try so hard to impress

[Eal]: *"said" laughing* ~You do have a point there Ma'am.~

[Eal]: ~ecg had been trying to work on "that one" earlier. It seems that the switching from court life to the high seas to a guild has left him somewhat , discombobulated. If it's any consolidation, though probably not much; I certainly am impressed with how well you've been able to put up with him so far...~

Well, my patience has limits
