[Thurin] Well, as I was saying before, as far back as can be remembered my family are werewolves... well even in Lupsberg there aren't that many werewolves and... umm well there are ways around that... I mean there is only one time that it is considered acceptible to... well umm...

*The penny finally hit's bottom*
You once told me there was only one reason you'd bite another person, I thought you meant to kill them, but you don't mean that do you, your woman has to be a lycanthrop, you cannot take a pure human wife can you
*get's up*
I was right about you, you are a true gentleman
*Kisses him on the cheek*
thank you for being honest with me

*Thurin looks down, as if ashamed*
[Thurin] No, I can't marry a human woman. My parents had three children in their life time, and that's a lot for werewolves, and all of us pure born. There are many werewolves who fight for the dark allience, some of them are my own kin. However as long as I, as head of what is probably the most powerful werewolf clan, oppose the dark alliance then others of my kind will have the courage to do the same. For that reason, aswell as others, there are some in my clan who would like to get rid of me. My marrying a human woman would give give them a 'valid' reason to do so. Wolf too cannot marry a human, for the same reason.

I would still love you

[Thurin] You'd love me if I bit you? I don't doubt that you mean well, buti mustn't, I won't, go through with that with someone who isn't prepaired for it. It's harder for those who are made. Wolf and I, and most of my kin, have grown up with it, to us it's normal, but you will know of no experience like it... And I so very nearly forced it upon you.

I'm not saying bite me now, I mean I am a Mage and we're not exacatly your favourite people, you have restrained yourself from biting me and that means something, I fell for you, Thurin Von Atwelt, not your family, traditions, clan or Wolf, I know you can see past the magician and I can see past the lycanthrop Lord, let us be friends and see what happens from there

So would I
*Goes back to her seat and carries on eating*
What do you propose to do about the new King, will you do something about that parchment scrap that was found indicating You, Craxus and Patricia DuBois had a claim, or will you invite a prince of another land to take the throne, one of them must be related to the king, they have intermarried for centuries, it can't be good for the bloodlines

*Thurin stares into his cup*
I think that we'll probably have to go with finding some princeling from another realm to take over... I'm not sure if that scrole should be kept, it's destruction may be for the best.

I agree, but where will you go to find the Prince, the Northern Lands
or a Prince of the Eastern lands, that will not be popular with the people, they worship other gods and..............
*Blushes*
..........well if any of their other practises became public knowlege, there will be riots or a baby explosion
I do agree with burning that scrape of parchment, Craxus is too much of a warlord and is obsessed with ridding us of the Dark Allience, that will take up most of his time and with that kind of power what will stop him calling up non mage's to fight them and Patricia is a very strange woman she must NEVER have that kind of power
*Sip's her wine*

[Thurin] A problem with using any foreign prince will be the gods they worship, as will there cultural traditions
The Wolf Den
Reefgirl (Brunel Baby) Posted Sep 19, 2004
*Sighs* so now what, a foreign Prince, you, a Warlord mage or a death magician
The Wolf Den

[Thurin] Personally I'd go for the foreign princeling, there'll probably be less problems with that. I will secede from Imardin if a Mage takes the throne, and I doubt I'll be a popular choice

So your choices are a prince from the Northern Lands and a prince from the Eastern lands, I know much about the East my father's bodyguard was the Kings personal guard until he was disgraced and was then sent to guard the women, my father went to war when the then king went to invade the East, he released Omar from prison and Omar swore his loyalty to my father, he passed on some of his traditions and practices to me
*Blushes*
that is all I'm prepared to say
