<Ok here's the update, Ena and Scandrea have had RL drop on them from a great hight and can't spend much time on h2 so I have suggested to Cat, Ena and Scan that we carry on with the replacing the murdered king story, which is a good story never got off the ground so they can carry on the kidnap story at their own pace, if it's ok with you

[Thurin] Wolf, why don't you go and help Aaylia with the search for this woman of yours. I'll stay here and make sure Shaylar's ok

[Wolf] Ok, but he better not hurt her or so help me I will rip him to pieces

< So will it be me and Thurin sorting out the King business and you helping Aaylia with the kidnap, Ena and Scan think that this plan will work with their reduced h2 time>

*Starts to thrash around in her sleep*

*Wolf leaves, and thurin, panic stricken wonder what to do with Shaylar. In the end he rouses her and tries to comfort her*

[Thurin] Hey, it's alright, you seemed to be having a nightmare

*Wakes with a star and grips Thurin's shirt*

Ohh...........ohh...........thank god it's you.............I thought he'd got to me but he's dead thank god

*Starts to shake*

He's dead, please god let him be dead

*Thurin pauses, unsure whether to ask who or not and in the end decides he'd like to know who, or what, could scare Shaylar so*

[Thurin] Who? Who's dead?

*Presses closer to Thurin, feeling like she needs protection*

His name was Nick Coleck a necromancer, Lady Syian's father, he was an evil man, really evil he slaughtered thousands during his reign of terror, every kind of evil perversion was fair game to him, nothing would be too sordid an act for him, he liked to take his pleasure with girls and young women including...............

*she buries her head in his shirt, feeling sick at what she is about to say*

................including his daughter, I found out it was him who captured my father during the war and it was him who came looking for me, not for my magic as we'd first thought but so he could...............could.................satisfy his lusts with me, he did unspeakable things to Lady Lumien and Syian, I tried my best to protect them but I failed

*Starts to tremble violently*

I keep expecting him to re-appear, to come for me, I know he's dead but part of me fears for me, fears that he's waiting for me

*Thurin looks troubled*

[Thurin] I pray you're right and he is dead, for if he's not and he did anything to Lumien then either he or Wolf will die, and while Wolf is very difficult to kill it is not impossible, and I do not wish to see my brother in his grave

*Thurin Holds Shaylar*

[Thurin] If he is still out there and if he does ever return to take or hurt you then I will do all I can to protect you

Thank you Lord Thurin, I'm sure he is dead, but his ghost will live on in my memory, I'm afraid you cannot protect me from that or my dreams, Lumien will not tell Wolf about Nick and what he did, he has to let her deal with it in her own time, myself Lumien and Syian had the most battles with Nick and we saw many a horrific thing I think we will have to deal with it together

*Wraps her arms around her knees and rests her head on them*

we will all need understanding friends, Lumien has Wolf, Syian has her own comforts and I have.................me

*Pulls herself together*

Oh god you don't want to listen to me feeling sorry for myself, you have your own problems to deal with, I'm sorry I didn't mean to waste your precious time but you're................................someone I can trust and for me that isn't easy

*Frowns*

*thurin holds Shaylar in an embrace and then moves slightly away*

[Thurin] I'm here if you need me. I can cope with my own problems, but I also want to help you with yours. And I think that while Lumien may be doing the right thing if she doesn't tell Wolf, I wouldn't like to be around if he ever finds out

Thank you My Lord Thurin, I know what you mean about Wolf, he can be a little hot headed

Would you like a little help with your problems, after the the battles of the last week I'd relish the thought of tiresome paperwork, I remember the last time we spoke there were 3 people who could take over the Kingdom, you, Craxus and some woman called Patricia DuBois, now you don't want the job but you don't want a magician on the throne, another option is to get a Prince from another Kingdom to take over, one from the Northern Lands or the Eastern Lands, my father had great respect for the tribes of the East his bodyguard was once in service to the King there, he taut me some rituals from the East

[Thurin] Well, probably the bigest problem, although I supose it probably isn't a problem anymore, is that we, that is myself and my father before me, don't seem to have paid any taxes for the past 30 years... well so long as nobody notices we'll be alright. Also it seems that the Lupsburg malitia is owed some new equipement which was never delivered... hmm, I wonder if the armourers still exists...

If there is no king then no one will collect the taxes, the guild and the church are exempt from taxes if you need to I'll provide you with sanctuary within the guild, I do owe you a favour, there is an forge within the guild but that is the domain of Lady Elandra, you could speak to her when she's recovered from her ordeal I'm not sure if there is an armoury within Imardin

[Thurin] Do you cook?

Yes I do and I do it well, are you suprised

[Thurin] A little, yes, I have this tremendous fear that when I marry I shall have to teach my wife to cook

*thurin smiles mischeivously*

[Thurin] The people of this town seem to think that cooking is either so verry verry hard that they doo not attempt to do it well, or they think that it merely involves throwing everything into a pot and boiling it untill it's all the same colour

I helped my Mother run the Manor House when my father was at war she and the servants taught me much

What would you like me to prepare

[Thurin] Well that all depends on what food Wolf has bought while here. Shall we explore the kitchen?

*Thurin heads out to the kitchen*

*In the Kitchen Thurin opens the larder and starts investigating it's contents*

[Thurin] Right, we seem to have sweet chestnuts, salt beef, flour, beans, a few large open cap mushrooms and some potatoes. There should be some herbs growing just under the window outside and there used to be tomatoes growing outthere, somewhere, too
