*looks down at the battle*

Indeed, peace would be nice. But what I want is to once again be happy. The happiest times in my life were when I was with my late wife. When she died, so did my happiness. The only reason that I've kept going is to honor her memory but sometimes I wonder...

she must have been a very special person to you if you have not moved on...

Once i honered someones memory, then i lost my honer...

Aye, she was for nearly fifty years. She left her father to be with me and now she has left me to be with her father again. Her passing led me to do things that I can never quite forgive myself for, but I must put those things behind me if I'm to be what she always knew I could be.

Ah and how are you to do this for her?
at what point will you know, really know deep within that you have satisfied your will to do this in her memory?

I...I do not know. All I know is that it serves to keep me going and gives me the will and strength to not give in completely to despair and self-pity. It gives me a reason to live, a purpose.

*turns and faces Alicia*

me... oh no, I'm just the necromancer with the fear of rats, who married the caretaker and now has nothing better to do than cause trouble,

*laughs coldly*
I'm just making sure my line of undead infiltry dont actually die again,
I know what it is like to loose someone you love avatar... the difference is i stoped waiting, stoped trying to please him.... lost my way at the hands of that caretaker...
at some point i might have a reason for being, but as yet i know not what it is.

*chuckles quietly, then starts to laugh*

Look at us, a scholar trapped by his past, and a necromancer with no purpose beyond stopping the immediate threat. If the rest of the guild is this crazy, then the DA hasn't a chance of conquering Imardin.

if the rest of the guild is like this the DA needent bother

Ah well, maybe this will wake the guild up to the threat that has been constently lieing on our border

If this doesn't wake them then Imardin is doomed to fall, but if it does, then maybe we can stop defending ourselves from the DA's attacks and start attacking them instead.

maybe we should have listened to the high lord when he sugested an attack, but we were too tierd and too sure of ourselves...

Well we can't do anything now but repulse this attack. Speaking of which, how is it going?

*walks to the edge of the wall to observe the battle*

well the enemy has us surrounded and we have a small force of undead and a sheald courtisy of shylar and lumien

we have no reinforcements as yet, and thankfully i dont think the civilians know...

What other towns or cities would be able to send reinforcements if word could be sent to them?

I dont know,
once the outposts would have helped but they only have enough for there own defence i think, as for the lands outwith our juristiction i know not which ones hold allience with us, or with the allience

I married lycan...

one of the good parts in being a necromancer perhaps

then i burnt all my reminders of him and gave them to the warrior...
stupid stuborn woman...

but I couldnt tell her the truth, i thought it would do more harm than good... how wrong i was...
