"You find it on < http://msdn.microsoft.com/ >. Keep your 'inform me of errors on the page' tag checked, I keep falling of my chair .
They tell you how to use it, but forgot to learn themself? "

I foudn the msdn fitler page right after making this...it as some very stuff.. http://www.msdn.microsoft.com/workshop/samples/author/dhtml/DXTidemo/DXTidemo.htm
I only pretend to know what I'm talking about here. though I credited it to you since I stole all the filter codes from entries you wrote.

"I only I knew what filters do what in which browser.
Indeed, I used some mostly on experimental basis to beable and check out the results.
As far as I found most do not work on all IE browsers . And to make it worse some (glow, shadow) do not even always work on the same browser version ??? "

really?
Apparently a lot of them only work on I.E. 5.5+ (and only on PCs?). but, since most(95%?) of all internet users use I.E., i'd say its okay to use. and anyway, BBC only guarantees I.E> support.

I found that on my cousin's computer the Evil Army badge has a realy thick green border instead of the glow...

...actually right after I posted that I realized it's just part of the badge...the green border is surrounded by the glow...although I recall the green border looking bigger without the glow

"You only have to check and test each parameter as the guys at microsoft did not.
Not for each version of IE4..6 anyway. "

I think they can assume, since its their software anyway, that you've got the latest version. isn't it a free upgrade anyway?

"I am running IE5.5 on a Windows 95 retail (floppy version).
IE has properties as if it is IE4, is there a free upgrade for the Windoze kernel?."

I'm not entirely sure what you said, but I think you cxan update IE for free on their site, but I think it costs some 100-150 $ to up[grade windows. it helps to have Windows XP, you know.

"That would be 100 Dollars, Pounds or Euro's for an new Windows version, some 100 for an new processor some 100 for a hard disk some 100 for an extra memory bank.
No thanks, this system running windows retail runs fast as it is now. I tried to get windows 98 on a similar system but it required double the hard disk and was already ssllooww. My philosophy is to keep a system with the same age of OS, just to keep it moving.
(I ran windows 95 on a 80386 33MC/ 8MB Ram /50 MB hard disk .)"

personally I liked windows 3.11x...it had a great paint program...the only problem was that there were not many games for it...at least many games that I know of...they messed the paint program up in Windows 95 and kept the program for 98...actually it might have gotten worse...
