smiley - ta for letting me know, Nitpicker - I haven't seen the finished product myself yet! Merely contributing to the magazine doesn't get you a free copy, and I'm not a subscriber. Glad you liked the piece! smiley - ok

An excellent read smiley - ok

Just thought I'd share the full Barnet pre-match experience with you from last Saturday. They usually play the same songs, and having been to five out of six of the last home games I'd got really used to them. Id' never really had a pre-match ritual before, but I realised I'd got quite attached to some of them. Even the terrible ones.

The Barnet set list, in all its glory, was:
The Undertones - Teenage Kicks
Sham 69 - If The Kids Are United
Eddie & The Hot Rods - Do Anything You Wanna Do
then they played the Wheels Cha Cha Cha
The Hooters - Satellite
The Jam - In The City
Status Quo - Rockin' All Over The World
U2 - Beautiful Day
The Sweet - Ballroom Blitz
Modern Romance - Ay-Ay-Ay Love Barnet
The Beatles - Twist and Shout
Guns 'n' Roses - Sweet Child O' Mine

And I'm going to really miss not hearing those today...

A great supplement smiley - ok

And as an added bonus for me: the front cover is a picture from Bramall Lane smiley - smiley

It looks like it is of just inside the turnstiles for the south entrance to the Kop. That's the one on Shoreham Street near the corner with Cherry Street.

I was interested in the whole It's a Knockout/Herb Alpert thing, and meant to do some further research when there was a long hiatus caused by me accidentally deleting half the music files on my hard drive, including 'Bean Bag'.

Anyway, having just finally managed to relocate 'Bean Bag' I've done a back-to-back comparision listen with 'Tijuana Taxi'.

And I have to say, that although 'Tijuana Taxi' is undeniably similar and sounds like it might have been used on It's A Knockout, 'Bean Bag' is the one that sounds exactly like the tune I remember from the programme.
