Still you might just win a few down there....

And just remember, there's always someone worse off than you. Me, in this case.
Ah well, maybe Accrington's a fun place to visit...

For once, I'm lost for words.
It's been a tumultuous old season for the VSC regulars, has it not? Only Plymouth don't really have anything newsworthy.

Yeah been something of a nothing season for us.
Still for so many years the championship has been the promised land just actually being here and competing is enough.... for now.
Perhaps I am being pessimistic but I think we are far more likely to have an interesting "relegation" season than a "promotion" one so mid table mediocracy is ok.
Never thought I would be in a position where argyle were a division above Ledds mind....

Meh. What do you expect when you're owned by the bloke who stars in the Safestyle windows ads, managed by a dwarf on helium, and the (part-time not bothered turning up all season) fans reaction to getting a corner in the last nminute which could just be converted into the goal that keeps you up is to invade the pitch and chase the players off.
Ah well, at least it's all interesting. Better than being a Bolton fan.

Things could always be worse: Lancaster City have just finished their season. With 1 point (they earned 11 but had ten deducted). They have massive debts, are likely to dissolve and reform within the next two weeks. They only avoided ending the season on zero as they got a surprise draw away to play off qualified Workington yesterday on the last day of the season.
They had -1 until a few weeks ago, almost the entire first team squad left and has been replaced by players from the local sunday leagues. All because a Northern Irish taxi driver from Morecambe and a mysterious "commercial director" from Portsmouth took over the club and made financial commitments they couldn't honour. The club transfer record was broken with the signing of Droylesden winger Jamie Tandy (famous for being attacked with a cigar by Joey Barton), but he had to be sent back to Droylesden when the cheque for the transfer fee instalments bounced. As did the cheques of the players, and assistant manager Micky Mellon.
So, Psyc, at least you aren't a Dolly Blues fan.

I suppose there's always that in it.

Over the years I've read a number of things about Ken Bates' dodgy business dealings. Much of it based around holding companies of his based out of the British Virgin Islands. I knew that any club getting into bed with him after he'd left Chelsea were not going to have a pleasant time of it; and so it has turned out.

I have to admit that I'm very disappointed, I was hoping honest Ken would bankrupt Chelsea, and get them relegated.
Coventry's season hasn't exactly set the world alight. Sold our best player - sacked another manager - save from relegation with 6 games left.
Wooo

Was what had appeared in my inbox and was removed from my last post. Had it come with a link, I'd have posted it. Kudos to whoever yikesed my post though.

I'd just like to make it clear, for the record, that I do not hate Leeds.
Taking the piss out of Psycorp, however, is too big a lure...

Aww, that's quite sweet. In a disturbing sort of way.

Oh, by the by, this doesn't look particularly positive.

Before kickoff in our game at Partick on Saturday the stadium announcer said welcome to this meaningless three point game. And spontaneously twice in the match the whole place erupted with chants of 'Let's all laugh at Gretna. Darn for their late kickoff we thought they had failed until we got back to our cars.

I'll tell you what: if, 5 years ago, you'd been asked to put Scunthorpe, Bradford and Leeds in the order of the division they'd be in for the 2007-08 season, I doubt many would get it right.

What's the Master B prediction for the 2012/13 season then?

Mu Beta Posted May 7, 2007
I'll go for Scunthorpe and Bradford in League One and Leeds in the Unibond Premier.
