Hey what a great idea, featuring the 'compleat werkes' of absent early birds who have flown yon coop.
I mean that, I like it.
It gives us a whole new way to search for material, looking up 5 digit U-numbers and checking for a pulse. Great idea.

Ah, you don't have to wait until they're gone...
I used to rummage around in your backlog... in the AGG/GAG days...
that's where the GAG came from, I believe....

It can also be very depressing and distressing to discover some lost genius who was ignored, moderated or ganged up on by sophomoric bullies who think they know everything but are unwilling to help the newbies to get oriented. Sometimes I find an abandoned page and think "Oh if only you had waited until I found you."
Then of course there are those who have a life and after posting a slice and a taste of that life, they remind themselves to get back to it and stop all this online foolishness. I recall in particular one guy who was kayaking his way to godliness. AggGag published one of his adventure stories. He popped back in a year later and took the time to say Thanks but posted nothing else. It was very gratifying.
