How do you submit your guide entry... Mine isn't appearing on the search engine.

According to your homepage, you haven't written any entries. This would explain why it isn't showing up in the search engine. Go down to the bottom of your H2G2 home page where it says 'Most recent Guide Entries' and click on the 'new guide entry' link to create an entry. Also at the bottom of your page is an area labeled 'Most recent Approved Guide Entries' which has a couple of links you will want to look at before submitting your entry for approval.

And don't feel stupid. Many people haven't figured out what to do with their home page. You are ahead of the curve.

There is an option for submitting entries to the guide when you edit them. It should be located in the side bar with the my home, logout etc buttons. Don't expect things to move quickly though.
An article becomes approved when it's had one of the editors look at it and said to approve or reject the article. There are now a bunch of sub editors (from within the H2G2 community) to pre-check articles and a few more editors on the staff doing the final touches.

How long should you expect to wait?
It's been 11 weeks and I haven't even had an email. It says that it's been submitted already.

I'm not sure how long the wait currently is to get articles approved or rejected. I do think that it's somewhat longer than 3 months that you've been waiting so far.

*Phil who's only had one article waiting for 4 weeks. The others were group efforts*

My first approved article took 15-17 weeks to get to the sub editor process, the latest article got rejected after 11. The rate at which articles reach the editing process has increased with the new subeditors and the extra staff for TPTWVH.
