stop getting scam calls without changing my number?

I really don't want all the hassle of changing my number, but I am hoping there is some way of stopping all the scam calls and cold calls I get currently. I did already join TPS but doesnt stop them. Other than fielding callers through scam-numbers I would like a better way of stopping them altogether? Must be something out there by now?

The only certain way is using a telephone number blocker which can be connected to your phone. They varies in price and quality. The hardest ones to block are those withhold their telephone numbers. I hope this will be of help. There are many websites, i.e., who called me UK where you can more information about the caller and if it is not on their online register then you can add the number of the caller with the name of the company if it is given.
