Thank you for recording your interestings experiments.
Can you please enlighten me.
Are pigeons and doves the same breed?
And why is it that doves are always regarded as birds of "peace" when in reality they fight like mad?
Is this a strange anachronism of our society?

Thank you for reading about my experiments
Ah doves. What an interesing creature. These are pigeons whos connection to the hive has been severed, which is mainly caused by over exposure to Ground Force. This makes them aggressive and prone to lash out at TV gardeners. They are known as birds of peace because when they turn up everyone runs.
I hope this has been enlightening for you

Oh snark king!!
You are having me on!!. It is a lovely story but I do not believe a word of it. although I must say that if I was a pigeon/dove I would certainly go for some of the TV gardeners!!.
Enjoy your musings my friend. And I shall continue to wonder why dove are always chosen as a bird of peace when they fight like mad!!.
Incidentally did you listen to the Reith lecture last night. wonderful.
sincerely,
