At a glance there seem enough simillarties between the two entries to justify a re-think. I see you've produced another potential uni project's worth of entries on this subject bob (no suprise there) but, rather than the link entry idea, I personally favour, if you feel you have the knowledge, an entry on Roman contruction methods generally. Obviously we'd need to check that this iuformation isn't already inb the eg, but covering aqueducts and other famous roman structures (drainage, perhaps?) would surely make for an interesting entry and would enable to to incorporate the new stuff in this entry without replicating what's already out there.
