At last. I finally got the internet cable back from my parents after I got told off for being on-line at 3 a.m. on Saturday/Sunday morning last week. For goodness sake! I had no school the next morning, so what's the problem?????
Cool, so Mike A goes to an all-boys school. I never go to the joint discos 'cos they're always on Friday night which means I can't go. Our school is so annoying. At least charity week is coming up so we can laugh at the teachers. Jeni X went with me last year to the teacher's thingy, didn't you? That was a laugh. Yeah, Mike A does go in for his music. As I told him earlier, my sis was a punk, and in a way, she still is. My mum had a go at me yeaterday when I told her I'm considering hi-lighting my hair red. My sis has got a red-purple colour, but I'm more for the red-ginger. Jeni X, didn't you dye your hair red once? I think you should do it again as you looked really cool.

hey, yeah i did dye my hair red once and i've still got some dye left, i'll tell you what when i've lost my limp, i will dye it again. The only problem is with the not long lasting dye 'cos when it rains it all comes out and runs down your face!!!! and yes i did go to the Teacher's thingy last year and it was really cool!!!

Going back to Mike A's thing about those girls at the disco's being sluts, that is the grafitti dotted around the outside of our school. It's those year 11 girls who's fault t is. Me and afriend bought a can of hair spray once. We looked through the colours: yellow wouldn't work on his blonde hair, black wouldn't work on my dark brown hair, same for brown, orange would make us look ginger and green would be silly. So we plumped for silver. He liberally sprayed it on his hair and looked like an old man! I refused to have it sprayed on mine!
We tried to spray it on his cat as well . It ran away!

I am quite open ended about music. I will act on people's recommendations, but often end up regretting it.
Heh, my CD collection has blues and rock sitting alongside heavy metal and punk. Outside, a live Slayer album lies next to a compilation of early 60s blues.
So as well as Iron Maiden and The Sex Pistols, I also like Eric Clapton's blues work, not to mention The Yardbirds sometimes.
But to be honest, I don't like The Corrs. Sorri.

I am eargerly awaiting Iron Maiden's new album, released in springtime. No clue as to what it's called or anything, the Iron Maiden mailing list will tell me that. I'm not a singles person, I see them as a waste of time. Maiden habitually release two singles with each album, but they do come with a cover with artwork much better than on the album. Plus there's the B-side!
Why the B-side? Sometimes it's a song not on the album, or a cover or something. Iron Maiden put Total Eclipse on the B-side of The Number Of The Beast (which I sang at Katsy's birthday) in 1982, and ended up putting it on the album when they re-released it last year. Kool!

I might let Shimmy put the group photos up as they're quite cool. Jeni is the only one not smiling! She's just staring at the camera with a blank look on her face! Nat's seen the photos and she thought the one with Jeni doing the two-fingers-behind-the-head looked pretty funny. Quite a few photos consist of Jeni's head in her hands. She must be very depressed.
I know Shimmy likes Aerosmith and Metallica and stuff like that. I know he listens to heavy metal and rock because everytime he's down in Southend he bags the hi-fi and upsets our Mum. (she can't stand loud music)
I like soft rock, but mainly pop, and most ballards, but some go too far. E.g. (thank goodness I can't remember what it's called) the one ballard by 5ive was SO annoying. Westlife annoyed me at first, but now, I luv 'em! Jeni and me agreed if we ever saw them, we'd probably drop dead! (both of us)
