Tease tease tease
Ok, I'll spill the beans.
I'm a massive NIMH fan and Lisa told me you and her went to the library and took the NIMH books out.
I read that book in the equivilant of a few hours. I started it real late on a Saturday. Damn fine book if I ever read one.
Have you heard of the film they made of it?
And don't give me no bull about loving NIMH so much cos I've had enough from Lisa, ok?

I've finished it now and I LOVE it! It's brilliant. I really like rats and mice as pets too. I currently have two mice, Shanti and Ananya, but as soon as I can I hope to get a rat(called Justin of course even if it's female). I've heard of the film. Zoe's seen it, but I haven't, I'll try to though.
About Lisa:God do I know how you feel!

I watched that film for the seventh time today? Obsessive? Certainly not. I've seen Watership Down 16 times. The dude that does The Greatest In Animation website has seen WD 45 times and SoN 60-odd times.
Now that is obsessive.
One of my friends has mice. A white male one which he calls Mousekewitz and a black female one which he hasn't bothered naming. Actually, the real reason he's got them is that he wants to see them have sex. He's had to rescue the black one a few times .
Lisa: she makes a point of making up immediatly after she says something mean about me. But it's subtle. A case of "that's a really freaky thing to like....but that's ok". Good thing too. I know none of it is meant to annoy me, but I am very protective about what I like....

Which version of Watership Down do you have?
Both my mice are female and chocolate brown. They're still quite young and small and they're beautiful
Lisa: None of what she says is designed to annoy, but it does

The 1976 (or '78) one written, produced and directed by Martin Rosen. In mu opinion, the best animated film ever. A milestone.
I have joined Caliber-Rah's warren for some online role-playing but due to my limited 'net access (as it says in my journal, I'm not meant to be here) I won't be doing anything of the sort until February.

That's the version I have.
I don't go many places outside h2g2 apart from my Hotmail account and M$N Messenger to talk to......

I thought the cartoon series of Watership Down was a terrible dissapointment. I must have only seen about 20 minutes worth of the whole series. They mutilated the plot, and the animation was kinda poor.
But it was aimed at v young kids, something they could take in. Which is fair enough. I liked the actors they used as well.
I am taking internet leave. By that I really mean I spend 15 mins on h2g2 instead of 30. Damn.

I haven't seen the cartoon one. It doesn't sound as good as the original film though
I get an hour online, but I usually go WAY over

Concerning rights for young people, I've had a submitted article rejected.
I demand the right to force sub-editors to read the whole entry before fobbing me off!
Oh, and who's this secret person who talk to? Anything like Lisa's Niv?

Hee hee. If she ever gets round to answering my email (and I'm sure she will) I'll try that out .
But really, it's not nice to talk about people behind their backs (and this is coming from a wannabe-punk!) But we're not out to offend are we?
Actually, me and Lisa were going to do a slight bit of cunning deceiving with you, I must admit. Me and her would keep it a secret how I found out about you reading Mrs Frisby. But I told you anyway.
So all's ok.

Oh no, not out to offend. Not today anyway...
It wasn't hard to guess where the info came from...
Wannabe-punk, eh? I am a wannabe-goth (Madonna style) or failing that a hippy!

We have two wannabe-goths in my school. Not true goths, they're just out to be 'cool'. But I never knew Madonna had ever been a goth.
Me being a punk: well, it's something I feel comfortable being (or deluding myself with). I've never been one for living a lie (as you know), so there's no point in me pretending I'm the nice clever kid most people (old people)think I am.
I was thinking of gelling my hair to look the part. But then I looked at the people with gelled hair and thought "man I don't want to look like them".
So, the most I'll have to prove I'm a punk is an offensive t-shirt (hopefully with a nice big swastika on it). Not much. Which is why I said I may be deluding myself.
Oh well...
