A Conversation for Liverpool's Slave Traders
A2354140 - The Slave Trade: Liverpool's Fortune
frenchbean Posted Feb 28, 2004
I've placed some of my links. A few more to go when I have more time
I'll avoid the modern Liverpool debates if that's okay? This is an entry about the slave trade after all

Looking at the entry, I was struck by the word indentured. I thought of teeth, and wondered about the origins of the word. I found this link - not about the word origin, admittedly, but a nice one nonetheless: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/aia/part1/1i3026.html.

Great entry about my hometown Frenchbean. You could put in a link to the Liverpool Maritime Museum (www.liverpoolmuseums.org.uk/maritime/), that has a large and very fair exhibit about the slave trade

Great entry FB
The one picky thing I'd mention would be to suggest using TITLE in the hyperlinks, which makes the references section easier to read.(see <./>GuideML-LINK</.> Syntax and Usage for Linking to External Websites)
Having checked them out the Hugh Crow one doesn't appear to directly link to information referring to him - possibly you intended to link to the manxnotebooks link (http://www.isle-of-man.com/manxnotebook/manxnb/v09p038.htm )

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!

It's probably not been allocated yet, although the way things are going here, it may be. No, there's no separate number for it as a recommended entry yet!
Congratulations, Fb! Lovely entry!
