c.1976 Creme Eggs had roughly the proportions of spacehoppers and when the Wham! Bar was introduced to the swimming-bath vending machine-using public in 1982 they were approximately 1x3 yds. Sweet manufacturers don't think we notice these things.

Did you know that Creme Eggs are about the only seasonal produce you get in shops nowadays? Exotic fruit and veg are flown in year-round from all over the world - but Creme Eggs are only supposed to be on sale from just after Christmas until Easter. At least, that used to be the case ...
