When i was in DC our neighbour had seven cats...... 6 got taken away eventually...... they were mangey and evil....

Yea...my cat has just about put animal control out of buisness...as well as prevented the flower bulbs from being eaten...although they are probably fried and dried far before the moles get to them due to the ACURSED floridian weather...either that or the rot because of too much water...

or maybe its the SQUIRRELS! they're everywhere!

my cat, Alexis the not quite so evil cat of EvilClaw (so cute!), kills lizards but i don't think she kills squirrels... she cornered a gerbil and just sat there b/c she didn't know what to do with it. So cute!
NOTE: Alexis may be EvilClaw's one weakness except for pizza, and sugary food, and the internet, and h2g2, and large blunt objects, and guns, and anything that hurts lots.

Although what really makes me irritated is how everyone refers to the United States as "America". They don't seem to realize that America actually consists of about 50 different countries ranging from Canada to Argentina. When people say "America" they mean the United States but that's not what that means. I really hate that. Hm...maybe we should use the term "United Statesian" instead. I like that better.

Then again isn't it North America and South America which are meant to be 2 seperate continents and people say America - meaning north excluding Canada and just ignore the south. (could quite easily be wrong as Geography is not one of my strengths and this comment is a personal observation.)

Well, North America happens to include Canada, the United States, Mexico*, and all those other little countries down to Panama and everything in the Caribbean Sea.

*To confuse things further, Mexico's REAL name is the United States of Mexico. See, we're so unoriginal we don't even have a proper name--just copy everyone else.

well the country is actually the USA, United states of america, so people just shorten it to its last word. Thats what i think at least.
