This is a brief out line of General Sherman's Military Life lead up to his death.

Yes, it is brief. I would like a few more details - I'm sure there's much more to say. You haven't mentioned, for instance that there was a tank named after him.
You've not put in anything about his scorched earth policy.
There are websites with more information, eg:

I'd be interested in how he ended up being named after a war hero from the British side in the War of 1812. How did he get named after the man who brought about the capture of Detroit? Were his parents unpatriotic or just historically uneducated?

There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho Posted Feb 24, 2004
I agree - it could really benefit from more content. The march through Georgia to Savannah merits an entry on its own, so it's definitely worthy of at least a section in this entry.

Like the Ulysses Grant entry, I think this one has potential but needs a bit more. Are you still working on it?

The author appears to be online right now, so I'm going to respond to all of these in the hopes that the bounce back to the top of the conversations list will provoke a response. Looking forward to hearing from you, TLG!

yikes, how did I end up sending that twice? It clearly wasn't a double-post, as the text is different.
I clearly shouldn't be doing this while sleep-deprived.
Nevertheless, I would love to see something happen with these entries.

I'd like to see these entries develop too I'd like to write an entry on Sherman myself (he's an Ohioan), but I couldn't feel right putting an entry in PR when there's already one here.
Of course, if this were developed more, our problems would be solved.

It looks like TLG has Elvised, so I propose moving this to FM. IN which case you could get your chance Jodan!
