I am an American, and love Monty Python. It's hilarious, so much different from American comedies. And very quotable!!

Monty Python is quite simply the funniest TV show in the world, ever. Apparently, aminstream america has finally realised this and is producing a monty Python movie, but it will rpobably fail. On of thebest things about MP was its total Britishness, and I somehow doubt that Hollywood would be able to see just what makes the spam sketch so hilariously funny.

I don't know what 'new' Monty Python movie you're referring to, but I'd be very curious as to your source.
First of all, there can never truly be another Python film since Graham Chapman has been dead for 15 years. The other Pythons have said repeatedly they will not work together as a collective again.
No one in their right mind would make a Python film WITHOUT Python, and if they were going to make ANY Python project, it would be very big news here in America; especially in the production industry, which I work in.
Also, on a personal note...I hope not. The existing films are a perfect legacy; leave them as they are.

It was just a rumour my uncle told me.

I heard about a movie but it was a comic-drama based on the life and times of late Python Graham Chapman called GIN AND TONIC
