As an expat I crave all things British tv and even spend a fortune at Amazon.com buying the complete series of...... this that or t'other. All great stuff.
At the mo our sattelite has American forces network which beams us the best of US stuff most of which I like (Friends, Frasier, That 70's show, Simpsons, etc).
Also, some Arabsat channels ocassionally get some gems like "Monarch of the Glen" with Arabic subtitles! (the translator truly earns his crust for that alone), "The Midsomer Murders" (so much violence in such an idyllic small village!) and some good movies.
Not enough good brit stuff though

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
