A while ago, before Christmas, I mentioned to one of the Italics that the BBC does indeed possess a WAP site. I think it may have been Mina. Whoever it was said they'd look into it
Update on the situation: check http://www.bbc.co.uk/mobile and you'll notice that things have clearly changed. There was Fame Academy info on WAP, too.
Oh, and just in case you are wondering why I care, I'm now in possession of a shiny new Sony Ericsson T200 (mono screen, but with WAP)

I was talking to someone on MSN, and using h2g2 during the quiet bits. Well, the conversation ended with tickets to the Rocky Horror Picture Show being purchased for when they come to London in June. So it was worth it.
I'm very 
now though, because we couldn't get through until after midnight.
