I was directed here after clicking on a link, saying 'h2g2-shop'. Is there still such a shop?
If not, where can I get an h2g2 t-shirt?

That's the BBC for you. 
I'm not sure if the h2g2 t-shirts are still being sold - they gave some away as quiz prizes at the last h2g2 meetup, but they still say 'www.h2g2.com' on so I suspect they are discontinued and they're using them as meetup prizes to get rid of the rest.

It would probably be best if you just had the whole tee-shirt tatooed on; look at some of the meet-up photos for logo positioning...
