I realize that some of the links are to unedited entries. Those entries are related and are going into PR at virtually the same time.

An interesting entry, and a pleasant read. Well done.
I can find no problems at a first quick read, so well done for that too.

As this entry ties together all the others (and I read it last) it might be an idea to put a caveat into the thread of the other entries.
This is another good one.
I think you'd better get rid of that spell checker though - there is a U in double.

I started each thread with the same message about the links.
I'll go do something about that missing letter.

Upon re-reading, found just a few typos:-
'definative' -> 'definitive'
'vengence' -> 'vengeance'
'comunicated' -> 'communicated'

I may just have to read this book. I say that a lot on here, and rarely mean it, but I will try to read this. Sounds very good
And your entry is similarly good. You really are providing a good amount of reading material for me tonight.

The only version I've read is the one from CEECT, which may be a little hard to find right now. Aparently every other version except the first few British editions is severely abridged. I found it helpful as I read that I spent a number of years of my childhood in Windsor, on the Canadian side of the Detroit River, so the geography was fairly familiar (when I imagined away all those tall buildings).

I'll have to check later on and let you know. There's a complete publishing history in the front of the CEECT edition and Guttenberg labels quite well, so I should be able to let you know how complete their version is.

Hmm. Seems I was wrong. Gutenberg doesn't label their texts very well. In fact, with Wacousta, they very specifically label it badly. They say, in effect, "look, we're not sure what edition this is, we just are pretty sure it's in the public domain."
I spent some time comparing it to Stronk's notes in the CEECT edition and it does look like the Gutenberg one is pretty much the original British edition, which is good. I'm not absolutely positive, but I'm feeling a modest amount of certainty.

I can't bear to see Wacousta fade away in Peer Review as it has faded from the minds of the Canadian reading public.

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!

Congratulations, anhaga!
It doesn't look like it's faded away just yet. I've downloaded the Project Guttenberg version so I can read it.
Cheers!
