What is the life expectancy of a weevil, anyways?

Well, I am inclined to give them a life span of something around 8 years or so. Why? I don't know. It's just a number I plucked out of the air that I thought sounded about right.
Perhaps I should add a section to the church to keep track of "facts" about weevils. I'd rather not keep adding bullets to the introduction as it will get way too big and unsightly to the new visitor.
Anyway, I'm thinking 8 years for the average lifespan of a weevil. Does that sound reasonable to you? More? Less?

Sounds good to me.

All right, we'll wait until friday, and unless we get more input on this by friday, we'll set the lifespan at eight years, then. After all, we have to give other members a chance to have their say, as long as they bleeding weel feel like it.

That's seems like an awful long time... my guess is two years

True enough, but two years doesn't seem like much time to get to befriend and have fun with a weevil. Wouldn't it seem like you'd only just started having really great parties with your weevils before they started turning up the daisies?
Then again, perhaps weevils are born to party. They'd have to multiply like crazy in order to keep the populations stable, though.
