Half the time the medics make things worse.

Some psyches I have seen won't listen to me. They resent the fact that I am intelligent with a medical background and know more about BPD than they do. So they treat me like sh!t out of spite. I am on carbemazepine and they said they wouldn't continue to give it to me even though it is the only thing that helps unless I take an antidepressant. (In the past they have had no benefit at all) So now I am on 300mg venlafaxine a day and if I miss a dose I get hideous side effects. s But they won't listen to me as I am *only* the patient

The sad fact is that doctors follow trends. Nowadays they had out drugs like sweeties. One of my friends, who has been on antidepressants before, went back on them again recently and I told him that I thought it was a bad idea and I'm a little worried. I agree that doctors do seem to "resent" some patients. People forget they are human and prone to human weaknesses.

Some doctors are great though. I've heard of some at our hospital who are popular with their patients and well-liked. It's good to know people like that are out there.

Oh, and a "warning" about Wumbie isn't adequate

all I did was go to the cinema and catch up on some sleep, and I come back to this lot.

so, to go (briefly) back to first principles: how *exactly* do I find this here pub? I have a hazy idea, but hazy ideas probably make finding you lot harder...
