>Major Jump mutters something incoherently behind his beard.
>Captain Cook winks at you and says "I have to confess to lying quite a lot. But, like the General, I am also now a Buddhist and an elective mute."
>Lieutenant Pigeon whispers in your ear "I think the Major said he was a liar"
>Sergeant Bash nods enthusiastically and says "Yes! A liar. That's what he said!"
It has to be Major Jump!
The liars can NOT say they are a liar, so if Lt Pigeon thinks the Major said he was a liar ( they all know who the truth teller is) and Sergeant Bash confirms he he said he was a liar, they can not both be telling the truth, so the Major truthfully said I am telling the truth, and does not lie.
I could expose all the rest as liars, but that would be overkill.
If nothing else I should be given points for reviewing the backlog
