Don't know why but Albrecht Durer's hare leaps to mind (if you'll pardon the seasonal pun, but don't know why.
Don't know many famous drawers. 
Da Vinci maybe?

Hmm. Shame.
was thinking how some artists can be perceived to have sold their soul. Blake seems to spring to mind with his inferno paintings, but they aren't drawings. But doesn't marry up with your creator question...

Is it the 'man' symbol used on some tv program who's name escapes me. Timewatch or something with was it one of the Dumbleberries???
