Useing google maps find an airliner in flight over open conutry (not on or near an airfield)
+3 for the first post with location in any form as long as it can be found by all.
Good hunting

All I could find was parked planes on runways, however, I did find this...

I hadn't noticed it was QI, so I was wondering why you started distributing dgi's in <./>askh2g2</.>

Can't access google maps at the moment, but am I right in thinking that it starts of at high altitude with a satalite image and then switches to photos taken from a plane as you zoom in?

How about that...
Ok, its on approach to an airfield...
The problem is with Google Maps, is its taken from a relatively low flying airplane, so spotting an aircraft under it is quite difficult - as they would have to be even lower flying - streetview should be easier to find....
