Taff There's exactly 2 seconds of that video (and I know because I checked before posting this up) that qualifies as a clue. smiley - ok

So have a DGI +1

Based on that Enya video, I'd say the answer is either (i) be a frog, or (ii) do it at a full moon?

Quite topical though - to a Frenchman it sounds like Enya sings

Don't get too hung up on Enya, it was my attempt to smuggle in a clue. The questions stands to be interpreted as is.

Neither a frog or a full moon would prevent you being swept over the edge.

>>go over the fall at high tide????<<

I'm intrigued.

What effect would that have on chances of survival?

This wouldn't be anything to do with drowning in aerated water because it's less dense than ordinary water, so you sink? So get out of the plunge pool where all the aerated water is and surface further downstream?

Is it something you have to prepare in advance or can you improvise it?

Preparing meaning, if you need any apparatus, or some sort of training in gymnastic or whatnot. Improvising means, you get stuck on a stream and suddenly remember this thread, and Bob's your uncle.

What effect would that have on chances of survival?>>

if the tide were higher than the fall you would not fall at all just be carried along by the current

if not the fall would not be so high and the plunge pool larger and deeper, increasing the survivability

Good question.

There is no real way of preparing for this no, you just have to take advantage of what's around you.
