Welcome to this great community.
I see that you try to set up another group of volunteers to help people get acquaintanced with this site.

But aren't you a bit fast with this? It is very obvious that you are with us only a short time, and already you assume to be able to help out others who may be here much longer than you.
It took me a year before I presumed to know enough to start helping others.

All help is of course very welcome, but there is a risk that by accident you confuse newbies instead of helping them.

And is it possible that you give me some more information about the Bounty volunteers on other sites? I have never before heard about them. I am interested to know in what way they help out others.

Thanks for your answer. I get the impression you can be considered as staff of those sites, even when unpaid for it.

That is totally different from the situation here. ACEs, GURUs, GA and so on are just normal members that signed on. All the work on the site itself is done by paid BBC staff who may or may not want your help in running the site.

You may suggest changes to the official pages, (those with C-numbers) but you will never get the opportunity to change any of those yourselves.
All you are allowed to do is make A-entries and conversations.

Part of the site is dedicated to the Guide, a collection of more or less relevant info about Life, the Universe and everything, based on the books of Douglas Noel Adams.
The rest is just a place to have fun, enter forms of roleplay and 'speak' with others in the way of a bulletin board. No chatrooms.
Everything posted is free to read by everyone. Everyone can comment on anything, as long as it stays within the <./>HouseRules</.>
