OK, here's one to start - a very simple sleeping potion.

First, make a brew of chammomile tea - use fresh chammomile if you want, but I normally cheat by using a teabag. Add two spoons of natural, runny honey, locally sourced if you can get it. This will be a relaxing and soothing drink, and is especially useful for children with colds or flu.

Spells tend to be a very individual and personal thing though Though ideas to build on can never be bad!

A simple cleansing spell.

To cleanse a room of negativity energy/unwelcome presences..

Take a piece of paper and draw a pentogram on it. place a light blue candle /tealight in the cenre and surround it in a circle of salt.

As you light the candle say a few words, such as.. as i light this candle i ask for cleansing of this rom. may it release any negativity
and/or spirits trapped here..so mote it be.

leave the candle to burn down and when cooled wrap all up and dispose of in running water.

Do you use colours symbolically?

As in coloured candles etc.. yes.. if they're avialable at the time. for instannce i recently used a purple one in a spell to give someone sweet dreams.

Something I do often is meditate and then imagine breathing in coloured clouds - different colours for different effects I want to achieve.

Thats more for healing though yeah?

Yeah. But for empowering too.
