i cant use it..dont know where to go?..there are thousands of pages of help n advice??..i only want a chat room...were i can join in live?....

h2g2 started as an effort to build a guide to 'Life, The Universe and Everything' (see <./>Read</.> for ways to read it), and as such we don't have chat features. Every page has a forum at the bottom where you can discuss things relating to that page.
However, having said that we do have more general pages like <./>MiscChat</.>, and <./>Askh2g2</.>. You may find the <./>DontPanic-Tour</.> worthwhile to take.
You can find out how to <./>Contribute</.>, or where you can <./>Talk</.> with the community.

I'm afraid we don't have a live chat facility - all the forums here are postings, like the one you just made.
<./>Askh2g2</.> is the busiest forum on-site. There you'll find lots of ongoing discussions to join in with.
It's definitely worth you changing your name, by clicking here <./>UserDetails</.> ...
Also, write something about yourself on your personal space here <./>UserEdit?masthead=1</.>, then a friendly <./>ACE</.> will drop by and show you some more interesting things on site.

Yeah, but not a particularly good one, there was something like 2 minutes between our posts (you can tell I've been too lazy to look it up and have been watching the instead
